Please tell me you faced this:

A customer. five PCs. One USB laser printer. They send Clipper (DOS) list from each PC. Everything Ok.

Clipper App is mine. I installe a third party program to print on a USB printer. Almost a year no problem.


I was promising during five years "I'm developping a new program and someday you will be surprised.


And this week was (or it was going to be) the great day.

I arrived. I installed my new VFP program. And I started to test everything is ok.


When I send to print a report just one blank sheet is the best that dammed printer can give me.

I tried with a Excel sheet and prints. Not all the page.

"Change tonner, please"

Anyway when they use Clipper no problem. So they are not going to change tonner just because I tell them.

Mmm.

I return to home defeated. Then went on using my old clipper program.

I think the problem is the printer but there are others problem with my program I have to solve.

They phoned me: "Printer doesn't print. Just blank sheets! We changed tonner but it still does the same! Is it possible anything remains around there?"

Or rather: "Everything was fine just before you put your stupid new program!"

I know I should deactivate third party program to print from DOS to test, but any of you may provide me any similar experience? (and, of course, the solution?)
