Actually what bugs me more is getting orders wrong. I hate onions and always make sure I order something without onions, and sometimes they get it wrong. For whatever reasons, it happens more often when the server writes down an order, versus when they memorize it without writing. Don't know why. (I realize it might not be the server's fault. )

That is something that you and Andy have in common - except for him it is a lot more serious than just not liking them. He is extremely allergic to both peppers and onions. We have learned always to order his meals saying "absolutely no peppers or onion anywhere near it.". You wouldn't believe the number of times his order has arrived with either peeper, onions, or both on the plate. Because he has a food allergy, he makes certain that they know that they cannot just remove the offending items from the plate because if he gets ill, he will sue the restaurant.
