don't want to talk about this in the open, I'll understand. I truly hope they caught it early.

>From what I have read a positive outlook can help. That's the approach I am taking. I am following a new diet. Many of my favorite foods are on the verboten list but there are worse things. I thought I was eating healthier with lots of fruits and vegetables. Fruits are pretty much out now. Veggies are OK. One unpleasant surprise was pasta is horrible for diabetics. I guess if I eat like a chipmunk I'll be OK.

Mike, as I'm sure you're finding out, type 2 Diabetes can be controlled. Multiple people in my family have had it. Yup, you have to stay away from sugar and carbs and starches, but it can be done.

I'm actually a little confused on the prostate thing. If you don't want to talk about it, I understand. But did they actually come up with a diagnosis or get a result of a test?
