>>A wise man once said, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." I'd rather teach you to fish than give you a fish.
I think he probably knows about the Help file. FWIW, sometimes a friend may say to another "what's the time?" which isn't intended as an insult or a sign of being too lazy to look at your watch, it's a reflection of relaxed and mutually respectful company where somebody probably can flick off the answer without effort. Sort of like the UT! My reaction when I saw the question was "what is M doing using VFP?" and maybe I'll ask in due course. Apart from that, you guys both carried/carry a torch in a product that meant a lot to many here. Peace.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
