Not sure why Rand often is quoted as if she's the ultimate trumping argument against people who want to retain a Middle Class or keep the pitchforks in the sheds. In Atlas Shrugged, doesn't Dagny identify generosity as a virtue- as does Galt in his monologue?
Dagny also muses that "it (is) useless to argue... and to wonder about people who would neither refute an argument nor accept it" so happy to leave it there.
