This reminded me of my daughter... When she was around 5 yo we signed her for soccer, for we thought it would be something that ties her a little bit to her Argentinian roots. So the week-end before the camp started we bought her a very nice pair of cleats, pink of course, and on Monday we took her to the camp and later we went to pick her up earlier for they told us they would play a "match" before the end of the day. So we go there and the match started and Vicky stayed in the middle of the pitch talking with another girl (we think about fashion for they were pointing to their clothes and shoes) and completely ignored the ball even if it hit them. That was her first and last day of soccer (she refused to go back) so some other girl was very lucky getting a brand new, barely used pair of cleats which we donated :)
