>How do you access SQL Server from C#? If you're using ADO.Net, then I can see VFP winning. If you're using Entity Framework, I think VFP would not be a huge winner.
I use both methods. We've developed a good library of functions that make ADO.Net fairly concise but yes, EF is a lot more concise than ADO.Net and it might be as or even more concise than VFP when accessing SQL Server data.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
