Thank you for your input. But I don't understand what setting to check. If I extend the entire Detail band vertically (making it larger), I see a solid vertical line on the right. But I cannot find the way to get rid of it or move it. And I can't find the way to change the width of the Detail band. So I am not sure which "column" you mean.
