There is no way to compare the 'cold war' between Russia and the USA with a war that is rooted in religion that's been going on for..ummm lets see here - what day is it? yeah about 3,000 years. Part of the difference here is that the USA and Russia didn't want to have to start dropping nukes on each other, thus killing themselves too. Furthermore the people in the USA and the people in Russia were behind the leaders on this. I don't see this ever happening between Israel and Palestine. Plus Russia and the USA were not shelling each other and killing each other's citizens either. The list goes on and on and on. Sorry but that is an utterly absurd comparison.
