I think so.


Yes, supporting the rebels in the Syrian civil war was very practical. Oh, wait a minute. That includes ISIS. Maybe not so practical. Allowing Al Qaeda to go unpunished for murdering 4 Americans in Benghazi? This only emboldens the terrorists and unfortunately, only time will tell how practical this move was.

It was stupid in Vietnam, it was stupid in Iraq and it will be stupid in just about any instance it's tried in the future.

I agree that is was not a good idea in Vietnam. As a matter of fact, I was one of the protesters at Kent State in 1970. So, with this isolationist POV, I suspect that you will be voting for Rand Paul if he gets the republican nomination.

In our culture the good guys end the story with a shootout.
People who walk away from a fight are dull and don't make good copy.


Does that mean that you also believe that FDR should have walked away from involvement in WWII?
