So.. the application in question uses .NET framework 3.5.
Some research showed me that .NET framework 4.5 has some awesome classes that make multithreading child's play (very attractive!)
I tried running the app with .NET framework 4.5 and all was perfect except for CR.
It just died.
So I can go through the agony of figuring out why CR and .NET 4.5 don't get along, or used the more cumbersome multithreading methods of earlier frameworks.
So, do I want a broken arm or a broken leg?
Yet another reason to use SSRS.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
