>>>I watch O'Reilly. I disagree with much of what he says and find him to be a Teddy Roosevelt-type populist. My interest in his show is really more because of some of his guests. Smearing someone by false association - once again, another logical fallacy.

Directed at people who don't have a passport and/or have traveled overseas only to Hawaii and are blessed to be embedded in the American dream. I say "blessed" because in the post-war period, parochial Americans must have been among the most content and generally happiest on the planet- with good cause. But Joe Average didn't notice until too late that moochers had paved paradise and put up a parking lot, aided and abetted by useful fools who chant slogans in favor of the 1% gouging ever-more from society as if it's an issue of freedom.

I'm going to take a guess you haven't studied the work of people like Stephen Hayes, A.B. Stoddard, and Catherine Herridge. They are periodic guests - and serious conservative intellectuals who don't resort to straw-man fallacies. But I realize some people need to believe these scenarios you've described.
