Dorris, sequestration originated from the White House. It is true that many Republicans essentially agreed, and then the White House turned around and tried to blast the Republicans for the negative effects (many of which were overstated). Additionally, the White House took credit for the shrinking deficits, which (in part) occurred BECAUSE of sequestration.

But sequestration, despite the pure double-lie from Obama, originated from the White House. Even Jay Carney slipped last year and acknowledged it.
