NNS is finally going to upgrade from vfp3 all the way to vfp6. The PROVANTAGE catalog sells the Competitive/Version Upgrade for $229.28. The little picture of the vfp box next to the listing looks like a thin box that wouldn't have any manuals in it. The manuals were necessary for vfp3 because some things were arbitrarily excluded from Help, though I don't remember what things.

Do I need the manuals, or is it all in the Help now? Should I expect the manuals to come with it, or will I have to buy them from Microsoft Press (I have seen them in stores published by them; it figures) or should I buy from another source in order to get the manuals without paying a lot more? Or is there some "what's new" manual which makes a comprehensive addendum to earlier versions, possibly even helping those of us who skipped vfp5?

Some say that only wimps read manuals, but I'm not proud.
