The little picture of the vfp box next to the listing looks like a thin box that wouldn't have any manuals in it. I have found the on-line documentation to be fairly extensive. It is in HTML format and is also available on-line at:

I upgraded to VS6 which included a MSDN Library CD with the KB, and many other goodies.
