And I had many male friends that I could ask opinions of on my message delivery (and yes, I would actually listen to them), and when most of them are telling me there's no problem with HOW I'm saying WHAT I'm saying......maybe it's not a communication issue. It reached a point where, during one set of marathon requirements sessions, I'd ask on of my male teammates to ask questions/point out possible pitfalls/etc.
