FoxBin2Prg does not do compare or merge per-se, when I wrote that on documentation I mean that with the generated prg-style text you can do that with tools that allow this, as WinMerge or others.

Can't remember now how to test it on SourceSafe, because I'm not using VSS it anymore (and nevermore, thanks God!:)

I'm using the free version of Plastic (Community Edition), and the included tool for Diff and Merge are really great, and far better that all I know up to date for control versioning.

For merging, the key is that your SCM does not block concurrent modifications on the same component (VSS use old blocking model, and I think SoS too)
