I even use to have a Spanish/Welsh dictionary for some reason I forgot (If you are wondering how this is possible, I used to live in one of several cities founded by Welsh immigrants in Patagonia, Argentina, you probably read this in the Wikipedia article)

No I haven't. The name rang a bell thou, so I Googled it and I am certain I read "How Green Was My Valley" when I was a teen, can't say I remember it thou, but reading the article I see those two books you mentioned are part of a tetrology with it and "Green, Green My Valley Now", I see that the two you mentioned are related to where I lived, I should read them, thanks for the pointer.
