It is a network connected printer. No print server just TCPIP port. The remote computer used to be a windows 7 64Bit and report printing worked fine. But I was able to install the windows 7 driver using an exe. It seems the driver for 2008 has to installed through windows. The printer is a Brother MFC-8460N.
Thanks.

>>I have been trying to setup remote printing from my win 7 64bit computer from a win 2008 RT server. The problem I am having is I can't seem to be able to install the printer drivers (no printer drivers installed) I need on the server. The server seems to want to connect to a printer which it can't. Tried manually go through the setup process but it won't show the INF file and I have confirmed that the INF file is there and the Brother website says this is the correct driver for 2008 RT.

If it is connected to a computer, which computer is it connected to? If network, is the printer and server connected up on the same LAN w/o having a router/bridge of some sort between the two?
