Yep. When I originally saw $1000 and thought it wasn't too horrible - sure I'd love it to be $300-$400, but even around $1000-$1200 it wasn't bad. Then I saw per platform / per year and suddenly it's not really in the running anymore (unless, like you said, you had a specific customer who would cover the license). Kind of disappointing.
