>>New place in White Plains, just a short train ride down to all the jazz clubs in Manhattan
>This former NY'er spent a lot of time in White Plains when IBM had a large presence there (I might be there this this year helping a client's client.)
>Besides going south to NYC, you can go east to Long Island sound or north to western CT and MA. The Berkshires are a wonderful place to vacation. You might find more classical music than jazz there, I'm afraid.
>2015 is looking good here in NJ, too.
>Best of luck over there.
Thanks. We definitely plan to go to places in CT.
I like some classical music. My favorites are Liszt, Grieg, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and some Tchaikovsky. Many moons ago I could play some classical piano - trying to play Liszt was almost possible. That's a talent level I can't even fathom.
