AFAIK physical keyloggers for wired keyboards require physical access to the computer to install between the keyboard and computer, or to plug into another USB port to snoop hub traffic. Admittedly a lot of people never look at the backs of their computers so they wouldn't recognize a new device or know one had been installed. Still, it's probably more secure than wireless - in a cube farm, a strategically located wireless sniffer could probably sniff 4 or more keyboards without physical access to any of them :(
