>Pardon me for jumping in here late. I have several white papers on my web site (the Technical Papers page of
http://doughennig.com) that go into detail about error handling, including the latest, "Fix Problems Fast with Advanced Error Handling and Instrumentation Techniques", which I presented at the German DevCon in 2013. This white paper shows how to mix Error methods, ON ERROR routines, and TRY/CATCH and includes an explanation of why an Error method will catch an error instead of CATCH.

Hi Doug,
thanks for the suggestion. I will work me through it (again I think.)
For now I end up with some code in the general (event based) error handler dealing with the problem. Seems to work. TRY CATCH and eventbinding where not working on this.
