>>Actually, no. I'd be paying Commonwealth a minor compliment if I accused them of "Junk Science". They're not even that clever. :)

Wow. OK, the authors for the 2014 update for international comparison include:

Dr Karen Davis who is the Eugene and Mildred Lipitz Professor in the department of Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins. She is regarded by members of both sides of Congress as a national leader in health policy.

Kristof Stremikis who holds 3 undergraduate degrees (economics, political science, and history) and two masters degrees in public policy from Berkley and public health from Columbia and now specializes full time in this domain.

Cathy Schoen who has a long career in healthcare policy studies, surveys and research (I remember her from the 1980s) with a War and Peace sized CV of reputable studies.

Tell me, what qualifies you to call them not clever at all, let alone in their area of expertise?

>>If you have time, go read some of their literature. I spent some time last night reading some of their web content. They're approach is more shill-like and nearly cartoonish. I'd expect that from the DNC (and in fairness, RNC is just as bad)

And there you have it- a formulaic attack on the messenger rather than the collection or analysis. If you're limiting yourself to the lay synopsis- try reading the underlying study itself.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
