I'd think it a bit presumptions on my part to tell parents what they should or should teach their children or to use the schools to make up for those presumed deficiencies.

If that's the case, then it's yet another example of the lame judgments being made their people running my schools.
Do you really want to give them more things to do poorly?
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
