That said, I've been taking a multi-vitamin (as well as a few supplements which I have reason to believe I need or can benefit from) for years and got hit with colds three times this winter. (On multivitamins, I think I started taking them when pregnant-pretty much all pregnant women need to take them-and never stopped, though I've switched formulations over the years.)

Yes, my wife took several vitamins while she was pregnant. She also has to take iron supplements (certainly not uncommon).
I wondered if the new location had anything to do with it. Central PA always had a high amount of mold. NY doesn't, at least not here in White Plains, though there appears to be more dust here.
Maybe I'm thinking too much into this - it's just that three straight knockouts had me wondering. That last bout with the flu (or whatever it was) was something I wouldn't wish on anyone. After Thanksgiving day, I went almost 3 weeks before having a regular meal again.
