My last (desparate) idea is to set up a Windows printer with a lower HP5 driver. I haven't used the 5si, so, I can't suggest a particular one. Or, if it's been a while since you've had the printer you might check for an updated driver...

I'll check my MSDN to see if it has any info, and I'll repost here if I find anything.
