>If I'm not mistaken, you'll only be able to identify Windows 10 if you've updated the application manifest to specify compatibility with Windows 10 -- otherwise OS() gets "stuck" at either Windows 8 (if you haven't specified Windows 8.1 compatibility in the manifest) or Windows 8.1 (if you've specified Windows 8.1 in the manifest Windows 8.1 compatibility).

Naoto,

So I read up on manifest files in VFP (thanks Rick) and used a resource editor to see the current manifest. But I am not sure what one needs to do to the resource file in order to specify compatibility with Windows 10 and/or to allow OS() (or some other method) to tell me whether the user is using Windows 10 or not. Any further suggestions appreciated.
