You're too fast for me. As for the history, I'm with Tamar - it remembers the search terms, which is enough for me.

But you did this beta version faster than I could read the whole thread to see whether anyone mentioned my reasons for being somewhat on Lutz's side: storage per project or folder.

I've done a lot of customization on the Environment manager page of the TaskPane, namely to have a separate environment for each project, with their own paths, SETs, resource files (which lead to separate MRU lists, the real benefit of this!)... Having thus pampered myself, I got hosed a couple of times by GoFish when I kept forgetting that it has one, central, MRU list and that it actually opens the project I last had opened. Well I maintain two versions of the same code, one still in beta, and I accidentally opened the wrong one in GoFish without realizing it.

I've learned my lesson, cost me only a couple of hours (which I guess were saved already by GoFish itself, so the net balance is positive), so I'm fine even if you do nothing in this area. Perhaps creating your system xml files where foxuser is instead of at a central location would serve just as well (at least the local settings, specially MRUs may go there) may be easy to do. I don't have the time to dive into your code, or else I'd have submitted the suggested fixes already :).
