There are a number of scientists who are gravitating towards new versions of intelligent design.

I am not saying I agree with them - just because the mathematical odds of the universe are now computed to be even higher than previously thought doesn't invalidate evolution - but there are doubters with advanced degrees in the hard science/math fields.
