Thanks for the vote! I'm upgrading a DOS program to VFP, and when asked what they wanted changed we expected "Ability to mouse to any field" or "Multiple screens open". Instead 3 users said "Get rid of those awful blinking 'NOTES' signs". Now they have a small gray button that changes from 'notes' to 'NOTES' when a memo exists. Click and a memo-edit form pops up.

I did an "Awful UI" form once for a class which had timers blinking items at different rates, as well as 15 different colors and 6 fonts. Fun to do....

>What Barbara said! One of the few things I liked about going from DOS to Windows™ was the fact that very annoying blinking dodahs were virtually eliminated by the Windows™ architecture.
