I'm not saying to replace what you do. Add to it. There are many companies that use social media to market B2B. It's cheap and easy. No, I don't have case studies, I'm not a marketer but some web searches can probably come up with some.
Think about this (and yes, it's to consumers)... why do companies like Coke or McDonalds do any advertising? At least here in the US, they're pretty much household names. So, why spend the money on it?
