I agree about Google, but Apple's track record for brilliant innovation is amazing.
The Mac, the Ipod, the IPhone and the Ipad! No company has even come close to that kind of success in the past several decades.
The only people in US history I can think of with that kind of record for repeated successful breakthrough innovations would be Benjamin Franklin or Thomas Edison.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
