Yes and no.

In the case of the IRS issue, much of the blame for the failure to pursue the case goes on Daniel Issa. He absolutely refused to give Lois Lerner full immunity. Lerner was a huge conduit who was involved in communications with the FEC, the DOJ, and the DNC. Issa blew it. He could have given full immunity, in which case we likely would be further along.

The reason I partly say "no" is that some of the issues I mentioned are normally referred to the DOJ. The problem here is that the DOJ was involved in the IRS targeting - Judicial Watch sued under FOIA requests to get documentation on this. You can't expect the DOJ and offices of the 7 Democratic Senators (including Elijah Cummings) to start investigating themselves.

Bill, I'm disappointed that you're not able to evaluate the current administration without reaching back to the Bush years. Remember that Mr. Obama wanted people to evaluate his administration on its own merits.
