In all seriousness, I know who you are talking about - and that individual and I have had exchanges in the past about handling technical questions from others. I am a firm believer that there are no bad questions - and I'll try to take it as an opportunity to help frame the question better. Yes, I have cringed. Some people are "men of the streets" and others are "men of the top floor". I'm the former.

Having said that, you might want to check other online sources - a person whom you believe might be "currying favor" might actually be serving some curry as a favor. To use the old Nursery Rhyme, there are many ways to make a garden grow...even if it does (quite contrary) include a few fancy Vista Logos all "in a row" :)
