Seems like a very nice ultrabook.

Meanwhile, I'm still very happy with my Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus. The specs seem very similar, but the screen of the Samsung is absolutely awesome.
OTOH, the HP spectre has the ability to turn the display to the backside.

How is the build? Is it solid? I've seen many ultrabooks that were a bit a to "flexible".

What I think is a mistake, is to pretent it is a tablet: It is too heavy for a tablet.

I've got an older Samsung NP900 series which is just over 11 mm high and 1Kg, which sometimes even prefer over the ATIV 9 because its lighter and can easily be hold with one hand on the corner, just as you would do with a tablet.

For me its ultrabook all the way. I never want to carry around a heavy and clunky laptop with me again. Having SDDs in my ultrabooks makes me wonder how I ever could manage without them.

Walter,

>Have had my Spectre for 2 months now and I really love it.

>I've used it in public many times - people look at it from a few feet away and say, "wow, is that one of the newer Mac Books?"
>
>Mouse can be a bit goofy sometimes - I have a small Bluetooth mouse that I use when I have the room for it. Keyboard responds very well.

>Took me a while to get used to it as a tablet and iPad replacement. But I finally found a folio envelope case that makes it much easier to recline in my favorite chair and read with it.

>So if anyone is looking to get a new ultra thin laptop that doubles as a tablet, get the HP Spectre x360. At the time I bought it, I wondered if I'd like it better than a Lenovo or the newest Dell or a Surface Pro 3. All of those are nice, but from what I've seen since then, I'm very glad I bought what I bought.

>Have used it for a few community presentations and it has worked perfectly. And much lighter than my prior brick of a laptop.
