Thanks for the reply. I have not installed the DCOM98 onto my notebook. I am on Win95. Is it possible to install DCOM98 without a problem? I have not upgraded to Outlook 98. I had not planned to at the moment. However, FYI I also get lock ups when not even starting Outlook 97 for the day. I am thinking it is more with the mail setup yet though. Did I also mention that MPREXE is not responding usually after I get my crashes. Some more interesting things to note as well. I have upgraded to the latest DCOM95 for Win95. I also crash when going to certain web sites. I get a OE error nearly immediately if I try a website such as www.walmart.com or www.stlford.com. These are sites that I know of for sure that cause my system to crash for both IE4 and Netscape Communicator. That info I thought may help. I go to the Blue DOS screen when I ask for those sites. I am believing that may be something with either ActiveX or JAVA for that issue. It did not happen before installing VS6. It takes me 8minutes to reboot with SCANDISK running on my 8GB drive. It is very frustrating. Can you get to those two websites that I mentioned above with no problem? My apps vary from small to large. I still think a lot has to do with the GRID control for the VFP crashes.

Another important point, I use FrontPage 98 and now that I have VS6 when I attempt to run the Theme Editor after making a few changes maybe selecting a font or an object to modify the properties on I crash everytime. It was freshly installed as well. There are a lot of wierd things going on since the install of VS6. If you could try to run the Theme Editor it would be greatly appreciated as well.
