>>What would really be funny is if the scenario you just posed turned out to be the theme of Eminem's next album. :)
>>Seriously, not sure I'd use Eninem to prove anything. I don't have anything against him, but I think we're talking permanent brain damage from drugs.
I doubt it's him personally taking the suit. More likely it's the music company trying to set an example as they will be with the latest infringement.
Since you raised the issue of Youtube, I'm wondering whether you can explain this: it's a mix of songs compiled by Youtube, starting with "Eye of the Tiger" uploaded by one of the VEVO accounts. Vevo is an international online music joint venture between Universal Music, Sony and Abu Dhabi Media.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
