I'm glad you solved your problem. I was in a similar situation myself yesterday. I updated a program, which caused Win10 to behave crazy. Among other things, most of the keyboard handling was "dead", so nothing happened when I pressed the Windows key, or when I right clicked. Installing Win10 on top of the old one fixed it, but it took most of the day.
