Among other things, most of the keyboard handling was "dead", so nothing happened when I pressed the Windows key, or when I right clicked. Installing Win10 on top of the old one fixed it, but it took most of the day.

I had a similar issue yesterday, restarted the computer and when trying to enter the password the keyboard would not react. Scary situation, but after rebooting again everything was normal. I wonder if I should have stayed with Win7 for a while before upgrading.
