I saw my last live NFL game at Shea stadium when the Jets used to play there.
At half time several young men who had tanked up at tailgate parties stripped naked in the 20 degree weather and ran thru the stands.
Other tailgaters, obviously not happy with their seating arrangements, threw full cans of beer down at the patrons in the better seats near the field. Some fell near where I was sitting.
I had my children with me and left in a hurry.
The Meadowlands, where the Giants and Jets play now, has its own police force, jail and onsite judge who is kept busy throughout the game handling drunken fans who get out of hand.
None of this gets on TV.
You attend an NFL game at your peril.
