If people really want to characterize such statements as lies then we're surrounded by liars re the ACA. In this very thread there are liars who simply come up with a new lie as each previous effort is caught out. Alternatively perhaps it's not a lie to say what you believe that then turns out to be wrong. In Obama's case, Obamacare was called fascist but it was insufficiently fascist to force insurers to honor Obama's expectations.
