Indeed, I'd go one step further... I'd say that it is irresponsible to have any guns in the house for the vast majority of people. Even for the ones who think it is their right to own a gun. And given what we see in the media, it only reinforces my feeling about this.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I would not say that you are stupid, blind or misguided for having an opinion that is different from my own.

You might argue that guns should be locked up out of reach by children, but that argument is laughable and you know it. If you lock up your guns, how then can you use it quickly when you need it? you ask the criminal to wait until you get your gun out of the locker? Ridiculous !! You'd better take a baseball bat available next to the door.

I have my opinion and you have yours. Shall I say that your opinion is laughable? Fortunately, we do not have children so we can keep our guns wherever we like - as long as they are locked up in the safe when we are not home. I am sure that you will find a way to tell me that you think that I am wrong.

What you can predict though is that if you if you have a global high gun availability without strict rules, it would lead to problems. the main mental problem is that people are not seeing this and hold onto this stupid guns because of their gun addiction.

Sorry to say this, but anyone who thinks that it is a good idea to take guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens and allow only criminals to have access to them is just plain stupid.
