To have a few different ones I'd have to create separate shortcuts (of which I actually do have a couple, and you're right, they inherit different _command.prg but then again I launch these in different folders so I didn't catch the connection with set("resource", 1), I thought it's the folder).

yes, for _command.prg it's one time deal at VFP start. It cannot be changed dynamically like foxuser.dbf
