Unfortunately it's this notion that you're throwing away your vote that is keeping the broken 2-party system in power. Maybe if I tell 100 people I'm voting for the Libertarian candidate, one of them will join me. Here's what I believe: a vote for a Republican or Democrat is a wasted vote since the end result is the same; a continuation of this path to total oligarchy.
