>>Hi
>>
>>I am using VFP 9 with Windows 10 Pro and some days when I use the Class Designer and save a class it saves instantly but on other days the class is saved very slowly and you have to wait for 10-15 seconds or longer. I have excluded the vcx, vct, prg, dbf, cdx, pjx, pjt, fxp, fpt from Windows Defender but it seems to make no difference. Has one else experienced this issue if so were you able to solve it?
>>
>>I also notice that Windows 10 seems to ignore my power saving settings as it continually shuts down my network card when the computer is idle and I have to wait for the network to come back up before I can use the Internet even though I have asked it not to power down the network card.

I do not have any nonexistent entries in the set path list and all the work is only local workstation. Secondly I had already used the device manager to uncheck the box that allows the computer turn off the device. Unfortunately the problem must be somewhere else.

Thanks
