Yes, thanks, Lutz, but it adds a middle step for the bulk work, which I wanted to avoid, but it looks like there is no way to avoid it. What I presently have is a blank field below the payment field. If the user hits the downarrow key it will go to that field and then they can mouse click wherever they want, otherwise when they post a payment and hit ENTER, or TAB, the processing is done, and they go back to the lookup field via code in the lost focus which reads the lastkey().
