#1 I, as a paying customer, say what I like or dislike about any business I deal with. Straight forward and to the owner. The other way is to stop using and paying (to a business). Like it or not, or say if you dislike my money. Subscription ends those day, not much harm done.
#2 Diskusion is into open as it was all those years, to let other add there opinion about it to make your desicion based on a broader spectrum. If, you dislike it, say so. I can see what others think about it and adjust my POV or act acordingly. If the discussion is on PM it's not the same.

The site I linked you has a url in it that you need to copy and paste to reach. If you act otherwise in germany you could be sued. If I, as german set a link on your site I could be sued. Google is outside of german jurisdication, I'm not. Again, this is minor, UT is not TP.

Active adds= thumbnail pictures for the moment. I must have avoided youtube stuff for all those years. I've first run into it the last week.
I (Me personal) feel, that I should have control how my message should deal with such stuff. I would not include it and I would like to ban it from messages I read.

As lesser a site is using so called active stuff like java script and as lesser pictures an embedded stuff like youtube or banner advertisement is used, the better a side is. It's lesser security thread to the customer and more professionalism on the owners side. I'm 100% shure you will not pay may losses to if your side gets hacked and spreads out maleware. Java script - for example - is pretty well used to spread out Ransomeware. It's a security problem from the start. And, just to use you own example, google.com works pretty well without.
So I minimize my risk as good as I can.
