FWIW, you'll need to contact him anyway for the key to install on your PC. Purchasing elsewhere possibly slows this down, as he needs to confirm where you bought it so as not to hand out license keys for free...

Also FWIW: there are other ways to pull classes etc out of VFP exes, some of which are free. But Refox encapsulates most of the complexity and makes it easy. It also gives you a way to protect your work that will block almost all hack attempts. A few years ago, some of us decided to really push VFP protection schemes and Jan responded quickly +++ to improve Refox capability when a VFP "hook" was shown to overcome most protection schemes. To my knowledge, there are only two people who can definitely show VFP project restore hacks against the current Refox, Defox or VFP Compiler.
