>>>I watched this movie yet,
>>>
>>>That's terrible how american football players hit their heads like goats. I don't know how is it in christ believe but in islam believe hit to head (to a human or animal) is forbidden. I don't understand Dr. Omalu find out american football far away more dangerious than even boxing, why hit to head doesn't forbidden in american footbal? Can't play this game without hit to head? Maybe they get new rule to players hit by shoulders and move their heads right at hit time? That movie says %28 of american football players effected brain ill because of hit the head. That's terrible.

>>Metin, I'm a big fan of American football, though I share the big concern about blows to the head. It is very disturbing to see former players deteriorate as human beings.
>>
>>But here's some food for thought. Soccer, while becoming more popular in the U.S., is still a more significant sport in Europe and many other parts of the world. "Heading" a soccer ball is perfectly legal in the sport - and there are also growing indications that heading a ball can contribute to neurodegenerative problems, even chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). The studies are still relatively new, but there's research on increased brain abnormalities and the amount of heading. And "heading" is strongly thought to be even more serious for kids and teens. There are all sorts of factors (even gender) and more research that needs to occur.

>>I'm not trying to deflect - the National Football League does not have a good track record where this is concerned and needs to pay closer attention.
>>
>>However, your subtle attempt to associate this with a country and a religion really calls into question your motive (and invoking religion is a potential violation of the terms of this forum)

>Don't think this's a religious insult on your folk. Hit to face is forbidden in islam but unfortunately muslims love in boxing which more dangerious than american football. People don't care others when it's fun unfortunately...

>In soccer yes, players sometimes hit ball with face, I remember I read an article about this says it would be reason small harms, but I don't see any football (soccer) player effected about brain problems. Main problem is hit head-to-head or hit the goal-bar (I don't know what is in english, we says in turkish like castle-bars) with accidentaly.

In English Its the cross bar Metin. Also I think repeated small blows to the head can have a cumulative effect so its not necessarily a big impact.
